Hearings
As part of any bankruptcy filing, you are required to attend a Trustee hearing sometimes referred to the “341 Meeting of Creditors”. Creditors do not general appear at these hearings any longer. The hearing is an opportunity for the Trustee, the assigned administrator of your case, to question you regarding the information submitted in your petition, request additional information or clarification if necessary, and complete his responsibility for investigation your ability to qualify and compliance with the rules of the bankruptcy chapter you filed under. Attendance is mandatory. A missed hearing can result in dismissal. You will received notification from both the court and hour office.
