What To Do Before Your Telephone Hearing

  1. Complete your financial management certificate and provide it to our office.  Go to this link. 
  2. Make sure you have the date and time correct and a reminder set on your telephone.
  3. Review the email sent after you filed, which has the date and time of the hearing, the phone number and code to call into for the conference call.
  4. Make sure your telephone number is charged and not on “do not disturb” in case your attorney needs to contact you.
  5. For Chapter 13 clients, you must have made your first payment to your trustee prior to the telephone hearing.
  6. Call into the conference call 10 minutes before the hearing time and MUTE your phone.  It is important you be in the conference call BEFORE the time of your hearing in case you are the first person called.
