FRAUD WARNING!

Bankruptcy fraud is a federal crime prosecuted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines or both.

The most important thing to remember is to be honest. This means to fully disclose all your assets, debts, transfers of assets, and discuss any issue you may have a concern or question about with your attorney.

Simply put – Only honest debtors have the right to discharge their debt.  If you enter the bankruptcy process fully disclosing first to your attorney and then to the court you do not have to be concerned about criminal penalties.
